We sometimes saw the butterfly laying egg in the forest. We want to ask you whether they need to do it on special plants or can be any plant?
Each species of butterfly will have special plants to lay egg on which called ‘host plant’. The host plant will be caterpillars’ food until they pupate and turn to be butterflies.

I am interested in buying live tarantula but I don’t want the aggressive one. Could you suggest a non-aggressive type for me?
The first tarantula for the starter can be a Pink toe tarantula which is quiet and slow.

My son’s teacher gave a butterfly to him yesterday. He would like to know how to tell the differences between male and female.
The differences of male and female are up to species of butterflies. In some species it is easy to tell from butterflies’ pattern or colors. In the harder case, we have to look for some spots which may appear on wings or tails. Generally, male butterflies are more colorful than females.

We saw caterpillars in our garden. We want to know how long they will turn to be butterflies.
Most of the caterpillars will turn to be butterflies within 4 weeks time. However, larger butterflies will require longer period than smaller ones.
